Taxes for Hosts

How income and occupancy taxes work on HelloHoliday.

Tax obligations vary widely by country and city. This page explains how HelloHoliday supports you, but it isn't tax advice.

Income tax

You are responsible for reporting host earnings to your local tax authority. Payout summaries are available in the Earnings tab of your host dashboard.

Occupancy and tourism tax

Some regions require hosts or platforms to collect a per-night tax. Where required by law, HelloHoliday can collect and remit these on your behalf.

VAT and GST

If you are VAT-registered, add your VAT ID in Host settings so it appears on your payout statements.
